Resurrected by Cheryl[]

Polly and Jason receive a visit from Cheryl in the Sweet Hereafter. Teary-eyed, Cheryl asks how they are doing. Polly says that the maple business is booming and in even better news, she reveals that they're pregnant with triplets. Cheryl cannot believe that Polly and Jason are in front of her and says that she misses them. Polly offers for Cheryl to stay with them, but she knows that her time in the Sweet Hereafter is only temporary. So instead of staying with them, Cheryl decides to resurrect Polly and Jason along with her friends.^[1]

Reunited with Betty[]

Polly reunites with Betty after Cheryl brings her to Thornhill, though the initial revelation overwhelms Betty, and she faints from disbelief. When Betty awakens, Polly is watching over her at the end of the bed. She assures Betty that she is who she says she is, and the sisters embrace, with Betty immediately apologizing for the fight they had, which ultimately led to Polly running away. But she tells Betty that she has nothing to apologize for. Still, Betty blames herself for Polly's death and believes this is the reason she's being likened to the Harlot of Babylon. Polly used to feel similarly about herself, but she's come back to assure Betty that she's worth far more than that.

Taking stock of her life, Polly asks Betty what is it that she thinks she did that is so unforgivable. Betty starts with killing their family cat with a rock, but Polly reminds her that she was eight and being influenced by their dad. Betty also feels awful about kissing Archie in high school, but Polly tells Betty to liberate and forgive herself for falling out of love with Jughead. Betty also recalls reading up on all things Biblical when Percival struck the town with plagues. In her readings, she came across Cain, who was forever marked by his sin. Betty believes that she's marked in a similar fashion, but Polly isn't convinced and tells Betty that she knows something that could help. She fills a bowl up with water and places Betty's feet in the bowl, allowing Polly to literally wash her sins away. She insists that it's gone and that Betty is no longer marked for damnation. All she did was wash Betty's feet, as someone did for her when she walked into the Sweet Hereafter.^[2]

Betty is still a bit shaken by her mother's death, unable to think beyond her own rage. She just got Polly back, only for Percival to execute their mother. As horrible as her fate may have been, Polly argues that their mother is in a better place, but Betty refuses to hear any of what Polly has to offer. She simply wants their mother back, and Polly assures her that Cheryl will be able to resurrect her using her Phoenix powers, but without their bodies, Betty explains that Cheryl is just as powerless as the rest of them. Polly pleads with Betty to have faith, to which she replies, "Screw faith." Polly later decides to check on Betty, only to find her sitting at the kitchen table, covered in blood. Betty explains that Percival launched a stealth attack against her using a stitched together Glen, who now lays twitching in the garage. That night, after they defeat Percival, Polly and Betty reunite with their mother.^[3]

Given what little time they have left as Bailey's Comet nears Riverdale and them being trapped inside the town's borders, Polly and Betty decide to spend this time with their mother and face this latest threat as a family. Alice is apologetic for not being a better mother, but Betty assures her that they know she'd do anything for them, along with reminding her mother just how much she's loved. As night falls and Cheryl prepares to stop the comet alone, Polly spends her final moments at home with her mother, sister, and children as the comet nears the town.^[4]
