How To Use Night Jade In Genshin Impact
The Night Jade is a rare and powerful Genshin Impact item, crucial for unlocking one of the game’s challenging trials. Obtaining it requires players to gather three Shattered Night Jades, which are scattered across different locations, each locked behind a World Quest.
Each quest requires completing a set of tasks that will lead Travelers closer to the Shattered Night Jade locations in Genshin Impact. Though some of the required Quests may be time-consuming, the rewards that follow are worth it. This guide will provide a detailed walkthrough on how to collect each Shattered Night Jade in Genshin Impact and where to use the completed Night Jade to obtain generous rewards.

Acquiring the Seabird at Noon Achievement will reward players with a Precious in Genshin Impact; simply boop the birds ashore to complete the task.
Night Jade Location In Genshin Impact
To get the Night Jade in Genshin Impact, Travelers must collect three Shattered Night Jades. After collecting the scattered shards, they will automatically merge into one mold, which is the Night Jade.
Shattered Night Jade Location #1 In Genshin Impact
The first Shattered Night Jade is located inside the Abandoned Temple’s Sanctuary of Offerings, which can be accessed during the To the Night What is the Night’s Quest in Genshin Impact. To trigger the Quest, teleport to the Ancestral Temple and locate the three missing Courier’s Trial Keystones.
Shattered Night Jade Location #2 In Genshin Impact
To acquire the second Shattered Night Jade, players must first complete the following Quests in Genshin Impact:
- Tracer No Tracing Quest
- Seeker No Finding Quest
- Beneath the Crystal Rock Quest
- Shadow of the Mountains Quest
- Peace to The Slumbering
After completing the Quests, fast-forward two days in-game to trigger the Between Pledge and Forgettance Quest. The quest is divided into two parts:
- Rite of the Blood
- Revelations from the Past
At the end of the Revelations from the Past, players will descend into the "final paradise," where they will be rewarded with two Precious chests and a Luxurious chest in Genshin Impact. One of the spawned chests will have the second Shattered Night Jade.
Shattered Night Jade Location #3 In Genshin Impact
Locating the third and final Shattered Night Jade requires players to do the following:
- Fast travel to Coatepec Mountain eastern waypoint.
- Head northeast toward the Fatui camp in Genshin Impact.
- Follow down the road’s path to enter the Extraction Research Center: passage.
Players need to save the trapped Saurians from being experimented on inside the discovered cave by activating the Fatui’s Extraction Machine Brake System. After completing the hidden quest, a Luxurious chest will spawn with the Shattered Night Jade inside.
How To Use Night Jade In Genshin Impact
The Night Jade unlocks the Chamber of Night’s Trial underneath the Stadium of Sacred Flame. To unlock it:
- Teleport to the Stadium of Sacred Flame: Temple of PAX waypoint.
- Leap off the southeastern edge.
- Glide toward the special-looking totem.
- Touch it to infuse the Night Jade with it.
- Interact with it to enter the Chamber of Night’s Trial.
Chamber of Night's Trial
Inside the Chamber of Night's Trial in Genshin Impact, talk to the Nightsoul Spirit Cat to start a challenge. The challenge will require players to defeat waves of enemies, so it is best to come prepared with a well-built team in Genshin Impact. Defeating the enemies and completing the challenge successfully will reward players with two Exquisite chests, one Precious chest, and two Luxurious chests.
